It all started in the Garden!

Hi there! I'm Yvonne and I've been an Urban Gardener for over 28 years. I started my garden adventure as a child helping my Mom in her garden. Spending time in the garden with my Mom are some of my most treasured memories.

My beautiful Mother is my inspiration. My Mom was a wonderful person, a kind and giving soul and avid gardener. Her green thumb provided many fresh veggies for our family and neighbors. We always had yummy vegetables, colorful flower gardens and lots of plants in our home.

Sadly, as she aged gardening became more difficult without help. I'm so grateful my Mom shared her love of gardening with me. My business is a small tribute to her spirit, strength, kindness and love of gardening. I wish she was here to share in my gardening adventure. I love and miss her so much.💚

As an adult, I grew herbs and salad veggies on my tiny apartment patio in containers after doing some research. I thought I couldn't grow food because I didn't have a backyard. Wow! I was pleasantly surprised when I grew fresh veggies on my patio! Container gardening is how I got started and is still one of my favorite ways to grow. It's perfect for small urban spaces like balconies and patios. 🫛🥕🍅🫑🥬

My goal is to encourage folks to garden, even if it's on their apartment patio. I want to help folks expand their access to fresh, healthy food from their own garden. Fresh food tastes better, is more nutritious and having your own garden help you become self-sufficient, is convenient, rewarding and relaxing.

I enjoy creating Herban and Salad Gardens .I sell plants, succulents, terrariums and seasonal fresh veggies. I make hand-crafted products with a garden or nature-related theme. I also enjoy making natural Lotion Butter Bars, Salves, Soaks and Soy-coconut Candles.
